Backpack EPE Palooka 75l + 30l

Got my new backpack from Ebay, Kathmandu was selling 260-300 after 50% discount, Mountain designer on Albert street is selling about 230-300 but they dont have the large daypack i am after, another camping store near Borders on Albert Street sells pretty expensive backpack unknown brand too.

So I decided ebay was my best option considering the seller is at Moreton Queensland and shipping was only 13 dollars. I later found out there are 1 or 2 more camping stores in Brisbane CBD but what the heck I have made up my mind check online for EPE prices.

SO i bought this backpack for about 230 dollars including shipping. The main reason is it's daypack being 1 of the largest design available. What's more is that it's got lifetime manufacturer warranty(provided its not damaged o purpose).

Reason for such a daypack is to fit my 15inch dell XPS laptop. When i asked the seller the measurements were 1-2cm shorter but when it arrived it fits perfectly and whats more is that it has got a compartment for laptop too! Brilliant!

ipod port(such robust marketing word, its just a hole!) Good quality zip (some YKK zippers, i dont know what is this), and most importantly i was looking for bottle holder .it has got 2. nice one.
The silver part is rain cover , the other black EPE wording is the cover for the backpack shoulder strap for when you check it it wont damage the shoulde strap. Here both wrappers are hidden nicel tucked under the bag.
Adjustable should strap, height and waist.
The fish net style thing there is meant to compact the luggage*shrugs*
Same picture as above it has got an aluminium bar to hold the bag horizontally.
the overview inside. so many compartments and i cant RTFM (Read the fucking manual) because there is NONE!

Dicapac wp-s10 wp-d20 Part 1 -Updated

Updated DSLR dicapac supports zoom lens.

Bought my Dicapac waterproof for my Nikon D90 and Canon HG21 video cam. This is my first try without putting on gear into it.

The Dicapac model for DSLR waterproof case is wp-s10 and for video cam it's wp-d20. Ordered through Ebay Singapore distributor. (For faster shipping and return postage just in case).

to test any leakage i stuffed in serviettes into both cases. The result is all the serviettes came out dry.

Gonna try it in swimming pool when its reopened on the 26th of April 2010.

First round of testing waterproof dicapac dslr and video cam. DSLR in wp-s10 with d90 liveview.

comes with neck strap.

besides the plastic zip, there are 2 layers of Velcro zip.

this is the wp-d20 case for video cam the finger hole is a design fault not as good as the wp-s10 where its more convenient. Then again i think the wp-s10 lacks of design to cater for zoom lens. *shrugs* you pay what you get for.
Water!
First try with the videocam waterproof case.Applied pressure
applied pressure under water with runnnig water for about 1min.
Test on DSLR case now.
again applied pressure for about 1min.
let it float while i shower.
Wiped it dry before i take out the serviettes

Can actually use zoom lens, see the barrel has got two finger holder in it.

Got this from a forwarded mail. I only heard of this "xue lian" in my previous online game shen zhou, a flower material used to make mana potion hahaha. Anyway the pictures are amazing.

By the way the mandarin translation is its only found is Tibet?(Xi Zhang) It is believed to "be able to bring the dead to life".
